Corriere della Sera weighed in on the Inter debate after the Nerazzurri failed to register a win yet again for the eighth consecutive game in Serie A. They go on to say: “this draw against Crotone, their fifth in a row, unleashes the anger of the fans who whistled and jeered the team at the end of the game. But the problems of Inter aren’t so obscure: they lack a style of play, rhythm and the right anger necessary to win these games. The honest Crotone side done every much better than Inter right from the start: they were tight and organised. Inter scored with Eder almost unexpectedly but never managed to control the game. A flat, soft, inconsistent team where nothing really works: the defence goes to sleep at the best moments, Borja Valero’s tiki-taka makes the play more predictable and Perisic is just irritating. The absence of Icardi, who was watching from the stands with wife Wanda, was felt and how, but this does not go anywhere close to justifying the free fall from the Nerazzurri. Again like last year with Pioli, the dreams die before the dawn, just before the most decisive part of the season.”

you guys stopped writing articles?
Has anything related to Inter died?
Like there is no news except for Icardi’s love life and Madrid speculations.
Was wondering that mysellf. How about the news regarding Spaletti caling the club “on the verge of madness” and “unvilling to spend”? Or the U19 team progress in Youth league and much more?
Spaletti calling the club “on the verge of madness” and “unwilling to spend” —
seems like he’s finally understood inter.
haha, yes you could def. argue that!
I like telling what it is, some call it the truth. 😉
Apparently these sempreinter guys rejected my previous post with a link to Fcinternews (dot) it. But there you can find most of the news brought here just in italian. Use google translate.
just look at what deulofeu did with watford vs chelsea. barcelona didnt want to loan him out inter for free but watford did manage to get him for free with no obligation. he is 10 times better and a lot more efficient than perishit.
also, samir nasri is free agent! was great last season with sevilla. how come inter didnt saw an opportunity like this?!
Thanks God lazio lost againts genoa at their home. Race still open, n i believe we still qualified CL, if our team can solve their mentality problem immedietly, while roma n lazio i believe it more than that. N beware of milan too. Forza Inter.
Inter needs a psychological reversal.
players are afraid of making mistakes and failures.
a good team always have good midfielders,
we need power, pace, speed players likes karamoh, cancelo, rafinha, gagli
not players like borja, vecino, brozo, candreva they are too slow, no fighting spirit and run
Forza INTER!!!!!
Its normal results, if most effective stars already gave instructions for their agents to look for new destination if Inter may not qualify for Champions League, instead of working hard to earn qualifying, they gave up and started to look for escape.
Thats why we have to suffer their failure, because they are cowered enough to run away, and leave us with the chaos they are making, only men like Zanetti and Cambiasso and others who handles pressure well wrote history at Inter, and only men that has their characters can make it again, we don’t need players that sell their pictures rights, we need players that can man up and hold Inter on their shoulders, Icardi and Perisic and Brozovic are selfish enough to drown Inter behind their desire.
True, and this is so annoying. Despite the shity form, we’re still on 4th place. They should bite the grass, because there is still a big chance, damn!
These players are so afraid of making mistakes and getting whistled by the fans that theyre making even more mistakes. Try Rafinha from start, he will make the wingers run and the midfield move. Right now its pass and stand like an idiot until we pass back to Handanovic. Rafinha and Karamoh are pass and move players and thats good. Also please move that shithead Candreva – his attitude is shit.
The problem is evident, the midfield and the wings are useless, Eder is useless, Dumbo, Santon are useless too. Actually our mid is made up of shitty and average players, Pastore was really needed. We can only hope Rafinha will improve the creativity but can he do it alone.
Also why are they not moving, its making me go crazy. These fuckers just pass the ball and stand there waiting for one teammate to magically bail everyone out. Unfortunately there is no messi or neymar to do that, so they better play football. Im so pissed !!
More than agree
Let´s go 4-1-2-1-2 next. Spalla even said that maybe a diamond in the middle and two strikers could be a possibility:
Handa
Cancelo, Skriniar, Miranda, Dalbert(as he´s best a going forward needed very much in this system fromt eh full back)
Gagliardini
Vecino, Valero
Rafinha
Perisi/ Eder/Karamoh/ Pinamonti, Icardi
Reports say we are moving to a back 3!
Ok 3-4-1-2 could with tii. That way Cancelo would get to attack as much as he wants, and Rafa get his attacking midfielder role plus Icardi help up front…
It’s replacing bad with worse, tell me the last time this out of date pre-historic 4312 worked for us.
Why not try Karamoh instead of Candreva and Rafinha instead of Brozoshit in 4231? Or simply play flat 442 with 2 strikers?
What Inter needs is stability, I do not suggest changing coach, but Inter had a coach who was improving the team (which cost much less than current squad) sure the football was boring enough, but if Mancini was still in charge, Inter would not be 90 minutes away from a record for most Seria A games without a win. He done the wise thing and walked away, also he never dissed Inter unlike FDB, WM, Gasp.
I disagree. It’s not the coach’s fault. It cannot be the coach’s fault AGAIN. We’ve had TWELVE coaches since 2010. What are the odds of being the coach’s fault?
It`s the shitty loser mentality of the player`s from last season: just like they stopped believing before the end and lost matches on purpose not to make it into the EL.
Instead of scoring 1 goal and parking the bust, they should aim for 3-0 before wasting time. Disgraceful attitude, some of them should be fined.
I agree of course, we would not get as good as Spalletti if we sacked him.
That was my point that it has not been the coaches fault – maybe with the exception of FDB.
At this point I’m curious, do professional football clubs have psychologists that work with the players, and if yes, does Inter has as well? Honestly, this whole problem boils down to a weak mental structure and absence of a winning mentality by the players. They start the season, they play some good games and get good results, people and media start praising them, and it seems that at that moment, when they actually think about the fact that the CL is within their reach, they get scared and start doing stupid shit. If you have a weak mental structure, the moment you get your first bad result you will start doubting yourself and your teammates and will start doing stupid things. It’s basically an enchanted circle out of which you cannot exit yourself, and thats because you don’t even know that the problem lies with you, That’s when the management steps in and brings a new manager, the players think that the new manager is the answer to their problems and they start believing again and playing good until the next moment of weakness when the whole shit starts all over again. Thats whats happening to us in the last 7 years.
I believe that with Mourinho it was different because first of all, we had a lot of proven players in the squad, players that know how to put a defeat behind them and start winning again, but also because he is an excellent motivator! Just look what he did with Milito! NOBODY believed that Milito would do what he had done that season.
You are right in some way. But I would recommend Colin Wilson’s first book, The Outsider, for starters. Every hit to a players psyche further weakens, if of wrong philosophy.
Yes they have, in fact when they stay in the training grounds or at hotels they have a designated companion.
Mancini got his problems but the management didn’t helped him either. He wanted a proven winner Yaya toure and he got amatuer Kdog. He wanted Kolarov (who is doing wonders in Roma now) and he got that brazillian FB from turkey.
*In one of his interviews he said that “Inter should always inspire to scudeto and not just CL places” and he does also mentioned the mentality and how Inter needs born winners or something like this.”
Yes many Inter fans dont respect him for what he did but he is pretty good coach when it comes to squad building, something Inter badly needs. Saying, that Sunning should do everything in their power to persuade Spalleti to stay.
This is going to take time. Youth should be given a chance, I agree, but when the whistling starts from the stands when a 17 yo makes his first mistake, and there are posts on websites calling him an idiot, will he want to stay at Inter. It is the fans that are putting the pressure on players that have proven at times to be OK. If expectations are lowered then they will improve given a few changes.
and again, it will depend on us the fans again (because management are really hopeless and just shipping their IQs to unknown area) who understand how important the youth, especially the primavera ones. If the idiot fans won’t understand about the growing parts (sadly because they forget they even being young), so it’s our parts to give them supports and defending them. if we care enough (because as long as i can remember we are inter for years just want trophies and forget the youth sector)
The fans are not stupid to not understand. They would treat youngsters differently.
They of course expect better from experienced players like Perisic and Candreva, it’s more than understandable.
Really?i still remember some of us bashing gnou when he have bad games after having good start.
I actually have always defended Gnoukouri everytime he played. And I actually insisted he’d be given a chance as a regular starter.
You can’t always make everyone happy so you just have to roll with it. I would rather prefer buying a 100 millions player only each summer than buying 10 or 15 players that cost between 10-15 millions.
You only need 3-4 top players to lead the team, and if you incorporate youngsters they will be inspired by them to reach their level.
Just like Barca does it most of the time.
In The last interview spalla admitted that he was wrong when evaluating his players. It means that these inter player are mostly the garbage one
wasn’t too difficult to evaluate. I was saying since the beginning that counting on vecino, borja, cancelo, and some random dude dalbert would bite us in the ass. They are just average players, nothing more.
I hope suning has guts to sell all of these player..icardi, perisic, brozovic, candreva, santon, and ranocchia..but i think they won’t because they are suck
I would also love to see Santon being sold, unfortunately his contract is expiring this summer… and if we don`t offer him an extension, he can go for free.
That’s why Inter management should prioritise players coming from the youth system seriously from now on. Sure many say they lacked in talent or experience but playing regularly will do so and being Inter player from youth have that feeling of loyalty and the right attitude wearing the jersy. Time for change.
Like barca does overall
They haven’t understood this for 7 years. Why does this shitty team even have any youth program if it’s not going to use it. I bet some primavera guys would be ideal for this inter and playing games will give them the experience to change this shitty club’s fate. But no, they rather spend shit ton for some nobodies outside of their own youth system and give them millions in salary. Well done!!
Correct, and someone said we tried to re-sign Duncan? Isn’t that absurd?
One thing I’ve observed with Inter plyers stemmed from the fact that they lack the zeal and the willingness to
compete and win games. Look at Perisic Brozovic and Candreva, their minds are no longer with Inter. I mean, if a player wants to leave, they should be left to go, you don’t have to block or prevent them from leaving. WE have players who are core Inter players, nobody should cause any distractions to them. Period.
Some of these players have losing mentality engraved in their thick skulls. If we are out of CL place then I am sure that these losers will lose matches on purpose and not qualify for EL like last year.
