Inter’s Slovakian centre-back Milan Skriniar, was allegedly quoted saying he is open to leave Inter at the end of the season whilst speaking to a Slovakian newspaper a few days ago. However, the Slovakian international used his personal Instagram account to clarify the situation with some strong words to re-assure Inter fans that the rumours are completely false. Here are Skriniar’s words from his Instagram story: “I never thought about leaving Inter and I never said I want to leave Inter, it’s an honour for me to be here! I do not know who translated the words from Slovakian, but they did it really badly”.
The Slovakia international has caught the eye of leading clubs around Europe with his displays for the Nerazzurri this season. Although he only joined the San Siro side from Sampdoria last summer, speculation has remained that this could be his only season at the club, especially if Inter fail to achieve a Champions League spot.
