New life for Gabigol, back to smiling and scoring. Two games in five days and two goals for Gabriel Barbosa. Gabigol, could not dream of a more exciting return to Santos.
The Nerazzurri forward did not need to do much to regain the affection of his old fans Tuttosport reports sating that “In the state championship, Paulista, the opponents are not top-level, such as Ferroviaria and Sao Caetano, but meanwhile Gabigol has put his signature on both matches, taking off even a few pebbles from the shoe for the poor showing at Inter.”
The young Brazilian forward struggled to hit his stride in Europe at both Inter and Benfica but now he is off to a fast start upon his return to the Brazilian league and is hoping to work his way back into Inter’s squad for next season. Gabigol was loaned to Benfica in hopes of gaining confidence and experience to return to Inter, but he did not meet expectations and was sent back to Brazil.
bla bla bla bla bla …. he just never got chances in inter… if he got time to play 90 mins for at least 5 games then we can talk about him not being good or whatsoever… he never got that chance… so i say its inter’s fault.. coaches fault or someone’s fault but not gabigols!
I know that the Brazilian league may not be the highest standard, —
neither is serie a any more !!!
I know that the Brazilian league may not be the highest standard, but I have to agree with Gabigol- without a run of 5 games or so in the first team, how was he ever meant to prove himself at Inter? Yet another example of Inter refusing to give youth a chance… could have been a useful option this season, given the poor form of Candreva and Perisic, not to mention the lack of a true number 10…
Absolutely. Even on his few minutes in Inter he was doing more comparing to others. He didn’t get a chance when everything was lost anyway last year. He would be a great addition this year..but NO. Is Karamoh actually better? Probably not…..How many talents must we destroy in Inter??? He would even be better in instead of Eder as a striker…..
