Inter coach Luciano Spalletti and his Genoa counterpart Davide Ballardini have decided to field the following 22 players in tonight’s Serie A fixture at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in the city’s Marassi district with kick-off scheduled for 20.45 CET.
Spalletti has decided to replace the injured Joao Miranda with former Genoa player Andrea Ranocchia, whilst opting to start with Matias Vecino and Roberto Gagliardini in the middle of the pitch with former Fiorentina player Borja Valero as a support man behind Eder up front. This means that January signing Rafinha will have to wait at least one more week before making his starting debut for the Nerazzurri.
Yann Karamoh starts on the left side of Eder replacing the injured Ivan Perisic whilst Antonio Candreva returns to the starting line-up in his usual right wing position.
The line-ups:
Genoa (3-5-2): Perin; Rossettini, Spolli, Zukanovic; Rosi, Bessa, Bertolacci, Hiljemark, Laxalt; Pandev, Galabinov.
Inter (4-2-3-1): Samir Handanovic; Joao Cancelo, Milan Skriniar, Andrea Ranocchia, Danilo D’Ambrosio; Matias Vecino, Roberto Gagliardini; Antonio Candreva, Borja Valero, Yann Karamoh; Eder.
