There is an interesting detail included in the financial agreement that Racing Avellaneda and Inter have come to in order to finalize the negotiation that will likely lead to Lautaro Martinez signing for Inter when the summer transfer window opens on July 1st.
According to what is reported exclusively by Tyc Sports, the President of Racing, Victor Blanco, after learning about the €120 million release clause that the Nerazzurri want to include in the player’s contract, seems to have been satisfied on a specific request, namely the right to earn 10% of the excess amount of a possible sale that exceeds €16 million meaning that if Inter sold the player for €17 million, Racing Avellanda would earn €100 thousand euros.
In an absolute sense, the transaction will cost Inter about 33 million dollars meaning that Racing stand to make 25 million USD which means that the transfer of Lautaro Martinez to Inter is the biggest transaction any Argentinian club has ever been involved in.
