Borja Valero worked separate from the group during yesterday’s traning session at Appiano Gentile. The Spaniard is trying to find his best condition ahead of the derby on Sunday and then try to manage the forces given the obvious fogging reported in recent weeks that led him to stay on the bench in the match against Benevento.

As reported by Premium Sport, the former Fiorentina midfielder could however again bein the lineup against the Rossoneri, as happened in the first half of the season.

Along with the questions as to who is starting in midfield, there is still uncertainty in defense between Joao Miranda and Andrea Ranocchia, with the Brazilian having returned to Luciano Spalletti’s disposal after the injury. Andrea Ranocchia took his place in the meantime and has scored two goals in his last two matches, first, an unfortunate own goal against Genoa. His second coming off a free kick against Benevento to put Inter ahead 2-0. It remains to be seen if Miranda will be ready by Sunday.
