Argentinian wonderkid Lautaro Martinez has rubbished reports regarding his future which claim that the Racing Avellanada striker has already put pen to paper to join Inter when the transfer window reopens in the beginning of July.

The young striker who scored a hattrick in his Copa Libertadores debut told TNT Sports that: “I know that I will stay at Racing until June, then we will make the best decision for me. I have always made the best decision, I have promised the President [Victor Blanco] to renew my contract in order to stay until the middle of the year, I have promised to touch up my minimum release fee clause, all of these things that I have promised I have also kept.”

In conclusion Martinez was asked where he would like to play next after Racing as well as if he has signed anything with any club to which he replied rather diplomatically: “I will play where I am comfortable. I have not signed with anyone. There are many clubs who want me, but my agent is concerned with these things. I have to remain concentrated on Racing, I have a huge responsibility and I feel like this: I want to stay 100% mentally at this club.”
