For nearly all of the transfer windows of the past few seasons, one name has been constantly linked with Inter, Domenico Criscito.

The Nerazzurri have tried and failed on numerous occasions to try and bring the Italian full back to the club from Zenit. Inter were interested in the most recent transfer window but their interest is now completely over as they have now set their sights on Kwadwo Asamoah instead after his agent Federico Pastorello offered the Ghanaian international to them according to FCInterNews.it.

Asamoah has an expiring contract with Juventus and will be able to be signed on a free transfer come July 1. Criscito also has an expiring contract but is expected to return to Genoa and sign a long term deal which would allow him to retire at the club and take up a coaching role in the future. The 31-year-old is a product of the Genoa youth system and last played for them in 2011 before moving to Russia to play with Zenit St Petersburg.
