Inter and Atalanta have ramped up their interest in Pordenone youngster Marco Meneghetti according to a report from Messaggero Veneto.

Both clubs are understood to have held talks with the Serie C club over a transfer, with other recent reports suggesting that it will take around €500,000 to convince the Neroverdi to part ways with the exciting shot stopper. Both clubs have the intention of signing the 16-year-old in the summer with the view of including him in their respective Primavera sides.

Premier League club West Ham are also understood to be interested but are not at such an advanced stage as the two Italian clubs they are competing against are, with the Hammers simply having watched Meneghetti a few times.

The Italian made his first team debut earlier in the season and recorded a clean sheet in the game all while becoming the youngest ever debutant in Italy’s third tier..
