With 10 games remaining in Serie A for Inter this season, Champions League qualification is still very much on the cards and remains the obvious goal for the Nerazzurri.

Former Inter defender Riccardo Ferri has analysed Inter’s prospects for the final stretch of the campaign in an interview with Inter TV.

“The path of the last period is positive, the Champions League is still within reach even if there are ruthless competitors like Roma who is experiencing a period of enthusiasm due to a new awareness of their own means and also to the qualification in the Champions League. Then there is Lazio, who feels penalised by the VAR decision and wants to react, and Milan pushes from behind.”

In the final 10 games, Inter have two direct clashes with Lazio and Milan. Luciano Spalletti’s side will play the Milan derby next Wednesday and will be eager to ensure they win two derbies from two in league play this term. Inter face Lazio on the final day of the season in what could be a Champions League qualification decider.
