Lautaro Martinez’s transfer to Inter is completed and only lacking the official confirmation from the Nerazzurri themselves with all other parties involved already confirming the transfer.
The Racing Club president Victor Blanco has spoken to TyC Sports and has claimed that the youngsters transfer to San Siro in the summer will set a new Argentine record.
“The transfer will set a new record in Argentine football, amounting to €27 million. The negotiation is now definitively closed by us and for the player, his will was decisive and I think it is a very good transfer for him.”
The Argentine club have recently turned down huge offers from teams such as Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund who offered just shy of double what Inter offered. The 20-year-old striker has scored 13 in 15 this season in all competitions and is being tipped for a place in the Argentina squad for the World Cup in Russia this summer as a result.
