Corriere della Sera report that former Suning technical coordinator Walter Sabatini did not even seek a termination payment when he and the Suning Group yesterday agreed to mutually terminate his contract early.
“The lack of autonomy, the betrayed promises and self-financing at all costs, pushed the technical coordinator to resign, without even asking for a termination payment,” the Milanese newspaper details.
“Satatini leaves his salary to Suning, because it has not and it has never been a matter of money for him, rather one of perspectives and projects that have become unattainable.”
The former Roma, Palermo and Lazio sporting director left his position just shy of a year of assuming it and will be remembered for his creativity in the transfer market at Inter which saw Inter sign the likes of Rafinha and Joao Cancelo on loan.
Whether Sabatini will be replaced remains to be seen with reports suggesting he will and he won’t both circulating.
