During an interview with Milan TV, former Rossoneri and Inter striker Maurizio Ganz discussed tonight’s Derby della Madonnina between two of his former sides. Here is what he had to say:
“Inter arrive at a positive moment, given the fact they have won their last two matches. They had a negative spell a few months ago, but they have rediscovered their ability and will to win. Perišić is especially important as he, along with Icardi, are the two players that make the difference for Inter. It will be a tight game, as we will see two teams that will face each other with similar tactics. We’ll see, it will be a fiery derby.”
It does of course remain to be seen exactly which systems the two sides will adopt, and whether Inter will look to take the game to Milan as Luciano Spalletti alluded to during his pre-match press conference yesterday.
