Inter and Gaston Camara’s representatives have commenced talks over a new contract according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Guinean’s Nerazzurri contract expires this summer and it is understood that by the end of May or early June, talks will have concluded and a new multi-year deal will have been signed by then. It is unclear how long the contract will be at this stage but the report would suggest Inter perhaps have Camara in their long term plans.

The 22-year-old winger – who can play on either side – joined Inter back in the summer of 2013 from lower league side Santarcangelo Giovanili and has made two first time appearances in amongst no less than five loan spells elsewhere.

Camara currently finds himself on loan in Portugal’s second tier with Gil Vicente and has been a regular feature in the side making 24 appearances to date this season. In 1213 minutes for the Barcelos based side, Camara has scored just the one goal but has tallied four assists also.
