Inter’s Portuguese international full-back Joao Cancelo stopped by Inter TV after the goalless draw in the Serie A against Milan to share his thoughts on the match between the Nerazzurri and AC Milan.

Cancelo began by stating that: “I think we tried everything to win the match until the very end, it is a shame we were not able to win.”

The full-back, who is on loan from Valencia was then asked if he thought he had more space to attack after Candreva was brought off to which he replied: “Yes, he has traits that are different to Eder but I am happy to play with both of them, they are two champions. But it is clear that something changed. Now we have two very difficult away fixtures against Torino and Atalanta but I think that we can continue to play with this intensity and to always to well.”

In conclusion Cancelo was asked about the fact that he is yet to score for Inter to which he replied: “It would have been a pleasure to score but the most important thing is the teams results.”
