Walter Mazzarri’s Torino defeated Crotone by 4-1 last night in the Serie A fixture which was postponed following the tragic death of Fiorentina captain Davide Astori.

However it was not all smiles for the former Inter coach as his Venezuelan international midfielder, Tomas Rincon, received a booking which means that he has reached the maximum level of yellow cards leadin to an automatic one match ban.

Therefore the former Genoa player will miss the Granata’s lunchtime Serie A fixture this Sunday when Torino host the Nerazzurri at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino with kick-off scheduled for 12.30 CET.

Rincon joined Torino ahead of this season from cross town rivals Juventus for a reported fee of €3 million with a conditional obligation to buy at the end of the season set at €6 million however these conditions were met already this past January making the transfer permanent on January 5th 2018.

Rincon has made 25 appearances for Torino so far this season across all competitions getting on the scoresheet once in the process.
