Valencia have already decided that they will take up their option to turn Geoffrey Kondogbia’s stay at the club in to a permanent one according to the latest report from Spanish news outlet Super Deporte.

The French midfielder joined the Taronges in the summer on loan with a redemption option, with the figure set at €25 million.

Their redemption option is valid until May 31st but they will activate it by then although it is presently unclear as to when that will be.

Kondogbia struggled at Inter for two years but rekindled form of years gone by upon his move back to Spain, where he previously played for Sevilla. The 25-year-old has made a total of 30 appearances since joining, scoring four and assisting the same amount.

With Kondogbia seemingly all but confirmed as a Valencia player, it remains to be seen whether or not Inter choose to redeem Joao Cancelo who moved the other way in the summer.
