João Mário was one of West Ham United’s most important players during their comprehensive 3-0 victory over Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
The Portuguese midfielder, who is currently on loan at The Hammers from Inter, scored a superb opening goal and was instrumental in much of David Moyes’ side’s good play.
Indeed, teammate Pablo Zabaleta has heaped praise on the former Sporting CP talent following his sublime display against Mark Hughes’ men. Here is what he had to say during an interview with the club’s official website:
