Former Lazio player, Vincenzo D’Amico was interviewed by Radio Incontro Olympia where he analyzed Dutch international defender Stefan De Vrij’s career so far with the Biancocelesti.
D’Amico was full of praise for the Dutch defender stating that he is “a great professional, who was not born as a Lazio fan and therefore has reasoned as such that he has decided to embrace another project but in the meantime he is always among the best players on the pitch. Those who argued to have him removed from the starting line-up were wrong, who knows maybe he will score the winning 1-0 goal in the last match of the season against Inter in the race to qualify for the Champions League.”
The Dutch central defender future was the subject of a lot of speculation but several reports have all but confirmed that he will join Inter on a free transfer at the end of the season.
