Inter have joined both Milan and Paris Saint Germain in the hunt for Brazilian sensation Paulo Henrique Sampaio Filho, better known as Paulinho.

The 17 year old, who can play on either wing and as a second striker, and already has five goals and three assists in his first 24 appearances for Vasco. Eager to hold onto their jewel, Vasco have already rejected an offer of €14 million from Atletico Madrid. According to Nicolò Schira, a journalist for Gazzetta dello Sport, the Brazilian player currently has a release clause of €30 million euros.

After exploding into the scene, Paulinho immediately drew comparisons with another top Brazilian prospect Vinicius Jr. for whom Real Madrid paid €45 million euros last year. Both players have been regulars for Brazil’s U-17 side, lifting South American Under 17 Championship and finishing 3rd in FIFA U-17 World Cup in 2017. Many in Brazil believe it is only a matter of time before both players are considered for the Seleção.
