Inter, Napoli and Roma are to fight it out for the signature of Sampdoria’s Lucas Torreira according to a report from Tuttosport.

In a recent interview Torreira’s agent Pablo Bentancur’s confirmed Napoli currently lead the way for the Uruguayan midfielder.

“We got an offer from De Laurentiis’ club. The club moved ahead of others and gave us a very interesting proposal,” Bentancur said.

Tuttosport also report upon some of the details of the negotiations between Napoli and Sampdoria for Torreira.

“There is a 5-year contract ready for the player with a €1.5 million annual salary but an agreement with the blucerchiati remains to be found.”

The Turin based newspaper also give an update on the future of Torreira’s Samp teammate Dennis Praet, who has attracted interest from both Juventus and Inter. The Bianconeri are understood to be ahead of the Nerazzurri in the race for the Belgian midfielder who has a €26 million release clause. Juventus have already met with Praet’s father to discuss a possible move while Inter have asked Sampdoria for information about the 23-year-old on more than one occasion.
