Inter’s young Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo stopped by Premium Sport to share his thoughts after the first half at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district between Inter and Cagliari in day 33 of the 2017/2018 Serie A season.
The Portuguese international, scored the only goal of the first half which also was his first goal since joining the Nerazzurri on loan from Valencia last summer, was asked about the goal and stated that: “I am very happy for the goal because it has given us the opportunity so far.”
In conclusion Cancelo was happy with the first half but stated that: “We have created a lot of chances so far to be able to score, now we must continue like this.”
The Nerazzurri lead Cagliari 1-0 thanks to Joao Cancelo’s free-kick in the second minute which went straight into goal without anyone touching it as he crossed the ball in from the left hand side.
