It was in the 36th minute in the first half of the Serie A clash between Inter and Cagliari at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district that Nerazzurri midfielder Roberto Gagliardini fell down in agony, seemingly unattacked.

The former Atalanta player had to come off and was replaced by Borja Valero. Inter tweeted that the player has suffered an injury to the flexor muscles in his right thigh and that he will undergo further examinations over the next few days to determine the severity of the injury.
