Inter’s Slovenian goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was interviewed by Inter TV after having helped his side defeat Cagliari 4-0 in the Serie A at home at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.

The former Udinese goalkeeper, who made his 399th Serie A performance last night began by stating that: “Usually these are the most difficult matches because they shoot one shot at you and you concede a goal. Today however things went well, the team were good at not allowing them to do anything.

“We did really well in the second half to close off the match as soon as possible, then a goalkeeper is always happy not to concede any goals. This should happen more often but I have to say that we played well in the derby, against Torino and in Bergamo where everyone suffers. This is why I wont say that this is a comeback but more an issue of continuity. The everyone knows that it takes very little to change a result” Handanovic continued.

In conclusion Handanovic stated that: “now we are off to Verona and I have to say that for a team like ours nothing can change between playing at home or away.”
