Inter youngster Andrea Pinamonti could play a part in Inter redeeming Joao Cancelo according to a report from Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Valencia are open to allowing Inter a discount on the Portuguese defender but want to benefit from their act of kindness. Reports have suggested Valencia would like Inter to waive their right to 25% of any future transfer involving Geoffrey Kondogbia but Inter, well aware of the Frenchman’s potential, are unlikely to be keen to oblige.
The Spaniards have taken a liking to Pinamonti but Inter only want to sell the 18-year-old if they can insert a buy back clause in the deal. Valencia are understood to not be interested in allowing such a clause but risk missing out on the young Italian who has interest from Villarreal, Deportivo La Coruna, Bologna, Parma and Genoa, if they do not allow it.
Pinamonti is highly regarded by Inter management but due to Inter’s one striker system, first team playing time has been limited to just two appearances across all competitions this season.
