During an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss, Inter legend and current Sky Sport Italia pundit, Beppe Bergomi, talked about tonight’s match between Inter and Juventus at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milano’s San Siro district.
Bergomi underlined the importance of the clash stating that “the Nerazzurri need to get a result, but if Juve beats Inter I think that in the end they will win the Serie A.”
Furthermore, tonight’s showdown may be one of the most important Derby D’Italia in years. For Inter, a win can help them achieve a top 4 finish in the league securing a spot in the group stage of next seasons Champions League which is the team’s season long objective. The match is very important for Juventus too, who sit just one point ahead of Napoli, and have a chance to increase their gap after their shock defeat last weekend against the Partenopei at the Allianz Stadium.
With just four games remaining of the 2017/18 Serie A season, both teams will be looking to pick up 3 points which could mean that the crowd at San Siro are in for an exciting fixture between these two historically bitter rivals.
