Evans Kondogbia, the brother and agent of Inter-owned Geoffrey Kondogbia, was present at the Mestalla this weekend to watch the match between Valencia and Eibar.

The match ended in a draw for the Iberian club, but presented an opportunity for the agent to meet with Valencia management to discuss the redemption of the French midfielder from Valencia. Any conversations should be quite smooth as it would appear that the conditions of the redemption have been set for some time.

According to FCInterNews, Valencia have been keen to secure Kondogbia for some time, and their director Mateu Alemany has previously confirmed that the club fully intends to finalise the transfer before the May 31st deadline.

After a disappointing time in Italy, Kondogbia has rediscovered his form in Spain, scoring four goals and providing four assists in 34 appearances for his new side. His efforts have helped Valencia take a stranglehold on fourth place, and a spot in next seasons Champions League.
