The latest story of ‘Club Inter’, broadcast on Inter TV, told the epic story of the Moratti family – a protagonist in almost 30 of the 110 years in the history of the Beneamata and the only family honoured with the special prize of a place in the Inter Hall of Fame in 2018.

In an interview also published on the clubs You Tube channel, Massimo Moratti, ex-President of the club, spoke about his time in the Nerazzurri family.

“I remember with great pride the period during which my father was President. I believe and I hope that the Moratti family, especially my father, is always remembered in Inter’s history. He led the club during an important moment, bringing international success to the team and also helping the club become recognisable and loved around the world.”

Massimo’s father Angelo Moratti was the President of Inter during the Grande Inter era when the club won their first two European Cups (in 1964 and 1965). He stood down in 1968. A Moratti returned to the head of the club in 1995 when Massimo took control.
