Sampdoria President, Massimo Ferrero was interviewed by RMC Sport, where he spoke about a few different topics such as midfielder Lucas Torreira’s future as well as Saturday’s match at the San Siro between Inter and Juventus.

Ferrero was asked about Napoli’s reported interest in coach Marco Giampaolo as well as the Uruguayan international midfielder stating that: “If they want both, they just have to pay. Torreira is a player that is talked about much, many clubs have asked about him, but we are waiting for June. Something will happen. Clearly, the last decision is up to the player himself. Napoli, Inter and other teams, everyone wants him. We value him along the lines of Patrik Schick, but if he does not work out at Roma they will kill me.”

Ferrero also talked about the events last Saturday at the San Siro: “Daniele Orsato is one of the best referees in existence, as was Nicola Rizzoli. I have not seen Inter vs Juventus and I cannot judge from the newspaper reports, but I just say that he’s a great referee, I do not know what happened to him on Saturday.”
