Although they have already been active in the transfer market, Roma have not forgotten to secure the team that reached the Champions League semi-final. The biggest name under negotiation at the moment is that of Alessandro Florenzi, whose contract expires in 2019.

According to Gazetta dello Sport, the Giallorossi are proposing a contract worth €3 million per season to the player. As with other symbols Francesco Totti and Daniele De Rossi, the club do not wish to insert a release clause in the contract so that they can retain the player for life.

Negotiations will continue, but the club hopes that everything will be decided within the next two weeks. The player will remain in the capital for this time as he awaits the birth of his second daughter.

In the event that the negotiations are not successful, Florenzi will be open to hearing the proposals of other clubs, including Inter, Juventus and Chelsea.
