Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal have placed Inter defender Miranda among their top targets for the transfer window as per a report from Goal.com.

The veteran central defender has been shortlisted as part of owner Sami Al-Jaber’s ambitions to build a great team and Leicester City striker Islam Slimani is also understood to be on the shortlist. Al-Jaber is also looking to land a top manager for the Riyadh based side and has Sporting’s Jorge Jesus in mind for the bench.

Miranda, who joined Inter back in 2015 from Spanish side Atletico Madrid, has a year remaining on his current contract at the San Siro but Goal.com further reveal that he has been offered an extension to the end of the 2019/20 season, at the end of which he’d be 35-years-old. Since arriving the Brazilian has been an integral part of Inter’s side and starred last season alongside Milan Skriniar at the hear of the Nerazzurri defence.
