Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market guru Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Inter and Roma have begun initial talks regarding a transfer concerning Radja Nainggolan.

According to the report negotiations are not yet underway but that “there have been direct and indirect contacts made in an initial fashion.”

Di Marzio underlines that Roma are only open to serious offers for the former Cagliari player and that the Giallorossi prefer selling him to a team outside of Italy with the Chinese Superleague still being a viable destination.

Earlier today reports surfaced that a move to China had been ruled out by the player but Di Marzio suggests that this is not only a possibility but also a solution Roma prefer over selling Nainggolan to a rival.

It remains to be seen how Inter choose to act from this point on when deciding if and when to make an offer and how high that offer will be.
