Yuto Nagatomo is subject to interest and a bid from Real Betis according to a report from Turkish news outlet FotoSpor.
The Spanish club are understood to have tabled a €3.5 million bid to the Nerazzurri to take the Japanese international defender off their hands. The offer is worth €1 million more than that of Galatasaray’s, who, after having Nagatomo on loan, wish to sign on a permanent basis.
Both clubs respective offers still fall short of Inter’s €4 million asking price for the 31-year-old, who has been on the books at the San Siro since the 2010/11 season following a transfer from Cesena.
Nagatomo has showed a keen interest in returning to Turkey but as things currently stand Betis appear to be in the lead to capture his signature in the summer transfer window. Nagatomo has been named in Japan’s World Cup squad and a few good performances at the tournament in Russia could entice each side in to meeting Inter’s evaluation.
