La Liga outfit Valencia are not showing any signs of succumbing to pressure from Inter or Juventus in the two Serie A giants quest to sign Portuguese full-back Joao Cancelo Spanish media outlet SuperDeporte report.

According to the report, Valencia have declined Juventus offer of €15 million in cash plus the rights to Croatian winger Marko Pjaca. The La Liga outfit have informed the Bianconeri the same thing they told the Nerazzurri: either put up €40 million in cash or don’t even bother making an offer.

The main reason behind Valencia’s desperation for cash is that the club needs it in order to balance their books and not be in risk of violating UEFA’s Financial Fair Play Rules, something the Nerazzurri know about only far too well. Therefore, the La Liga outfit will not entertain any other offers except cash but with Cancelo having turned Wolverhampton down and Manchester United cooling off their interest in the player, it seems more and more likely that the 24 year old full-back, will remain at Valencia, at least for the time being, as the club looks to cash in elsewhere to balance the books.
