Inter Primavera star Nicolo Zaniolo’s agent Stefano Castelnovo has refused to rule out a move to Roma amid ongoing speculation linking him with a move to the capital club.
“He is a player that they like very much. I would like to point out, however, that at the moment there are no negotiations in progress between the clubs. What I can say is that if there were to be negotiations between Roma and Inter, Zaniolo could be part of a deal as a technical counterpart.”
It has been rumoured that the 18-year-old, who played a key role in helping the Inter Primavera secure their second straight scudetto, could be used as a sweetener in a deal that would see Inter land Radja Nainggolan.
Castelnovo went on to admit in the interview with FCInterNews.it that his client is subject to interest from other clubs.
“Yes, there are other teams that like him and who have asked for information but at the moment I think it’s still too early to go into details. We’ll see what will happen in the next two weeks.”
