Atletico Madrid have joined Inter in the race to sign Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan as per a report from Sky Sports.

There has been contact between Atletico and Roma in recent days, and the player – who is highly rated by Diego Simeone – is aware of the interest. That said, the midfielder has made it clear that he will not force a move and will wait for two clubs to agree a transfer before committing to any move.

It is no secret that the Belgian has been a major target for Inter in recent weeks. Indeed, at the request of Luciano Spalletti, the club were keen to bring him last season before he signed a renewal with the Giallorossi. Roma value the player at approximately €40 million, while the Nerazzurri are offering a much lower sum. The two sides must compromise on their respective valuations before any deal can be done between them.
