Marcelo Brozovic’s agent has come out and said the Croatian midfielder considers Inter as his home but conceived that it is up to Inter whether he will remain with the club.

Speaking to CalcioMercato.com, Miroslav Bicancic said, “I can confirm that several big clubs follow Marcelo and they are informed, but I can not name them. A contract renewal depends on Inter and what the club’s strategy is and we will see what happens in the coming weeks.  Marcelo considers Inter as his home. He likes he city of Milan and is preparing to play in the Champions League with Inter. But whether he stays or not depends on Inter and the developments in the transfer market.”

Bicancic also spoke on Brozovic’s proposed move to Sevilla that collapsed at the last minute.

“Marcelo was very close to the transfer to Spain, but there was too little time for Inter to find his replacement, so he stayed and found space in his real role in front of the defence.”
