Galatasaray President, Mustafa Cengiz, has been critical of Inter and their policy in the transfer market regarding their Japanese full back, Yuto Nagatomo.

The former Cesena player played the second half of last season on loan at the Turkish club and impressed during his time there. So much so that the Turkish champions are looking to buy the player outright from Inter.

Speaking to fcnblog.com, Cengiz said: “we have made our offer to Inter in accordance with what is possible for us. Nagatomo was third choice at Inter. We took that into consideration when making our offer. We know that Nagatomo is open to joining us but Inter have told us that they will not allow the player to move on loan due to their situation with UEFA. We have made the best offer we possibly can but, as we know, Italians have been excellent traders for hundreds of years. They wanted a very high price.”
