Tottenham Hotspur’s Belgian international midfielder Mousa Dembelé has decided to that he only wants a move to Inter according to Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
According to the report this is one of the deals “that Inter pay the most attention to as there is competition from both China and Italy has to be dealt with. In order to please Tottenham there is a Chinese offer of €35 million. But Inter is thinking of a two-year project: to bring the player to Italy and then send him to Jiangsu Suning after two years. The only thing that could stop a transfer is if the player himself could negotiate a renewal with Tottenham which would expire at the end of June 2023. Vecino could be part of a deal with Tottenham.”
When Dembelé’s entourage visited Milano they made it clear that any courtship from Napoli and Juventus will be rejected, the player wants Inter and no one else, Corriere reports further.
Also, Napoli and Juventus are not as interested in the player as Inter are. Meanwhile Tottenham are asking for €30 million but Inter do not have this kind of cash to spare so the negotiations continue.
