The agent of Chelsea’s Italian international full-back Davide Zappacosta, Alessandro Lucci, was interviewed by Italian media outlet TMW regarding the meeting he had earlier today with Inter at the club’s head offices in central Milano.

Lucci was asked if Inter and Chelsea are negotiating a transfer for the former Torino player to which Lucci replied: “Only a chat, for the moment there is nothing.”

Conflicting reports from Italy suggest that Lucci, who is also the agent of Uruguay international midfielder Matias Vecino, was discussing the future of the former Fiorentina man with some outlets reporting that Vecino could leave whilst other reporting that he was there to discuss a contract renewal which would see Vecino tied to the Nerazzurri until the end of June 2023.

Lucci is also the agent of Roma full-back Alessandro Florenzi who has been rumored to Inter in recent weeks but the latest reports suggest he is on the verge of signing a new contract.
