Inter continue their strategy of reaching the €45 million capital gains goal on player transfers by selling off their incredibly successful Primavera yout team squad players, with Davide Merola and Gabriele Zappa being touted to be the next duo to leave Sky Sport Italia’s transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports.
According to the report, the duo could be sold to Sassuolo who after almost three years of working closely with Juventus, seem to have abandoned that cooperation and replaced the Bianconeri with the Nerazzurri of Inter. Merola is a striker, born in 2000, while Zappa is a center midfider and he was born in 1999 and could be sold to Sassuolo in a not so distant future.
With Zaniolo and a yet to be decided Primavera player being sent to Roma as part payment for Nainggolan, Valietti and Radu being sold to Genoa, Bettella being close to Atalanta, now Zappa and Merola could join their former Primavera teammates in being sold in order to help Inter raise the required €45 million needed for UEFA to allow them to leave the settlement agreement when it expires in June 2019.
All of the aforementioned players will have a buy-back clause inserted at a fixed price except for Zaniolo and whoever joins him to go to Roma as no details regarding these two have been confirmed.
