Candreva’s Agent Confirms New Contract Has Been Agreed With Inter

Antonio Candreva’s agent Federico Pastorello has confirmed that his client has signed a renewal with the Nerazzurri and says official confirmation will come soon.

“It [the contract renewal] is a formality, it is not official yet but it will be soon,” Pastorello revealed to FCInterNews.it outside Inter’s headquarters following a meeting with the Nerazzurri’s hierarchy.

FCInterNews.it add that Candreva has signed a one-year extension to his contract which means he is under contract at San Siro until 2021 but insist he could still leave despite this due to interest from two foreign clubs.

Pastorello also represents Inter full back Yuto Nagatomo and gave an update on the Japanese international’s situation. The 31-year-old is at the centre of an agreement between Inter and Galatasaray over a €3 million transfer.

“We are evaluating the possible solutions for him to get away from Inter,” Pastorello admitted.

Inter are also still in talks with Bordeaux over winger Malcom and Pastorello is one of the intermediaries of the deal. Contact between the clubs is frequent and the clubs are working toward a loan with redemption option transfer. Pastorello however admitted that the move is on standby while Inter focus on meeting their financial fair play goal.

“I think Inter is now more focused on the sales front. I think they have now understood that the player has the opportunity to go away from Bordeaux and can join the club.”
