In the past 24 hours, there has been one player at the forefront at minds of every Nerazzurri fan: Radja Nainggolan. The club have tried to bring him to Milan in the past, but have never been as close as this. Roma currently value the midfielder at €40 million and Inter are rumoured to have found a strategy to meet that valuation: €24 million in cash, plus the transfer of Nicolo Zaniolo and Davide Santon to the Giallorossi.

Although this is an incoming transfer, FCInterNews report that this will actually result in capital gains for the Nerazzurri. Zaniolo, one of the stars of Stefano Vecchi’s Primavera, has been valued at €10 million and will generate a capital gain of almost €6.9 million.

As for Santon, the last remaining member of Inter’s treble-winning squad, he has been valued at €6 million and will add €4.8 million to Inter’s budget.

In total, this deal will bring Inter €11.8 million closer to their target of €45 million, all whilst adding a world-class midfielder to the squad and weakening a direct rival.
