Corriere Dello Sport has confirmed that Cagliari will co-operatre with Inter regarding the Nico Gonzalez deal.

The 20-year-old striker will be bought by Inter from Argentinos Juniors for a price of €10 million and then immediately loaned out to the Sardinian club. The next step in the process will be for Gonzalez to obtain an EU passport. The Roma based news outlet then reports that yesterday, the Inter representatives met with the entourage of Gonzalez to close the deal.

Inter have been negotiating this deal for quite some time and it finally seems that it will soon be completed. All parties involved have more or less come to an agreement, Argentinos Juniors and Inter have agreed on the sum, the player and Inter have agreed to the contract and Cagliari will be co-operating with the loan agreement once the deal is finalised. This will be one of the many moves Inter will be making this summer to boost their squad for the future.
