Football finance website Calcio e Finanza has taken a closer look at Radja Nainggolan’s pending transfer to Inter and what effect his arrival will have on the club’s budget in the forthcoming years.

The inclusion of Nicolò Zaniolo and Davide Santon in the deal will help the Nerazzurri to meet their UEFA Financial Fair Play targets, as their respective departures will enable the club to make a profit. Indeed, with each player valued at around €7 million, the club is likely to make capital gains of around €11.36 million. This will go a long way towards reaching the required sum total of €45 million.

As for the Belgian, who is reportedly set to sign a three-year deal with La Beneamata, the cost of bringing him to the club is likely to be around €12.6 million over the next financial year. Add that to his €8.3 million (gross) salary, his total impact on the 2018/19 budget will be around €20.9 million.
