According to the latest reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are looking into the possibility of signing Sporting CP midfielder William Carvalho on a free transfer, with the player having recently terminated his contract with the Portuguese giants following a training ground bust up with fans.

The Nerazzurri have already completed deals to bring the likes of Lautaro Martínez, Stefan de Vrij, Kwadwo Asamoah and Radja Nainggolan to Milan, but sporting director Piero Ausilio would also like to sign one or two midfielders, a right-back and a left-footed winger.

Tottenham Hotspur star Mousa Dembélé remains Ausilio’s preferred midfield target, though he is very expensive which is why he and his colleagues have begun the process of sounding out possible alternatives. Both could arrive, but this would require someone to leave beforehand.

Meanwhile, in attack, Malcom has indicated that he wants to join La Beneamata and there is a chance that a deal could be finalised before the end of this month. Ausilio is willing to pay a loan fee of €5-7 million with an option to buy worth around €40 million. Only time will tell whether Bordeaux are open to these terms.
