Gazzetta dello Sport believe that the Inter that is currently being built is capable of putting an end to Juventus’ long run of success within Italy.
Inter manager Luciano Spalletti has already began to plan his new system, one that will be able to seamlessly switch from 3-4-2-1 to a 4-3-2-1 and vice versa.
The Milanese newspaper have likened Kwadwo Asamoah and Ivan Perisic to Alessandro Florezni and Mo Salah in the similar system Spalletti used during his time with Roma. Newest signing Radja Nainggolan will carry out the same role as he did at Roma.
Inter will also have a new look at the centre of defence following the arrival of Stefan de Vrij on a free transfer. Alongside Milan Skriniar and Miranda, Inter’s defence will be one of, if not the strongest in Italy and Gazzetta have likened this trio to the BBC trio of Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini that brought great success to Juventus.
All in all, Inter now have the tools to do a job in Europe and make an attack on the league and reclaim the Scudetto crown.
