The deal is now complete, Yuto Nagatomo will soon officially become a player of Galatasaray according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

Officials from the Turkish club have been – and remain – in Milan to close the deal that will see Inter pocket €3 million and the Japanese international return to the club where he spent half of last season on loan.

The talks have went on for a number of weeks and the sale of the  longest serving member of the current Nerazzurri squad will help them in their bid to hit their financial fair play target of making €45 million in capital gains by June 30.

As mentioned above, Nagatomo spent part of the 2017/18 season with the Istanbul based club and helped them toward winning their 21st Turkish Super Lig title as he made 15 appearances in the Turkish top flight. He delivered three assists and left a good enough impression on the club’s officials to make them want to have him on a permanent basis.
