Sassuolo winger Matteo Politano is getting closer and closer to a move to Inter, at least according to the player’s agent Davide Lippi.

The agent spoke with Italian tv channel Sky Sports Italia after a meeting with Inter’s directors in the club’s offices in central Milano, underlining that although no deal has been made, the parties are close: “We are working, things have not been concluded yet. We are hopeful. The player would be very happy to move to Inter but for the moment the deal is not done yet. We hope to be able to conclude it soon, there is a will from everyone involved to do so.”

According to the report the deal will be a dry loan with an option to buy including young players going in the opposite direction with Sassuolo currently deciding on who they want from Gabriele Zappa, Jens Odgaard, Mattia Adorante and Davide Merola.
