Young Italian central defender Alessandro Bastoni was interviewed by Italian TV channel SportItalia where he spoke about his thoughts of having signed for Inter.
The former Atalanta defender stated that: “I am happy to have signed, it is a big club. Now I have to prepare for the European Championships then we will see which club I will choose to spend next season at. I want to ask the Inter fans to have patience, I have to still complete my growth process, then we will see what happens.”
The young defender was then asked who his footballing idols are to which he replied: “My idol has always been Sergio Ramos, I hope he does well at the World Cup. Then I have had the great fortune to have gotten to know Samuel through Gasperini. He impressed me a lot, just at Skriniar has. I am very happy to have signed for Inter.”
